New Membership Information
Any independent, not-for-profit, school in Maryland which conducts elementary or secondary school classes and which meets the requirements established by the Association shall be eligible for membership in the Association. Membership will continue as long as annual fees and reports are received and the requirements of membership are met. Membership is subject to review by the Board of Trustees in the case of major change in the philosophy, structure, or governance of the school. A member school, which in its conduct tends to injure the good name of the Association, disturbs its well-being, or hampers its work, is subject to disciplinary actions, such as reprimand, suspension, or expulsion, as may be determined by the Board of Trustees after careful consideration, due process, and a two-thirds vote of the total membership of the Board.
